Hear this evening's devotional [Prepared by Jonathan Bagster (1813-1872)]
01.26 Evening:
Upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.―It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more.―They sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb.

01.26 Evening:
(Ezekiel 1:26-28)And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
(II Corinthians 3:18)But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.--(I John 3:2)Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
(Revelation 7:16)They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.--(Revelation 15:3)And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
