The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 25:8,9 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will He teach sinners in the Way. The meek will He guide in Judgment: and the meek will He teach His Way.
The Word for the day--
I John 1:8-10
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves"
Romans 3:23-26 For
all have sinned, and come short ["want" John 2:3] of the glory of God;
being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth
to be a Propitiation through Faith in His blood, to declare
His Righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; to declare,
I say, at this time
His Righteousness: t
hat He might be Just, and the Justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 7:14-17 For we know that the Law is Spiritual: but
I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the Law that
it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but
sin that dwelleth in me.. . . . (Romans 7:24,25-8:1) O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the Mind I myself serve the Law of God; but
with the flesh the law of sin.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are
in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Psalm 25:8,9
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will He teach sinners in the Way. The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His Way.
"He is Faithful"
I Corinthians 1:9
God is Faithful, by Whom ye were called unto the Fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord [cp.Jn 10:30; Heb 3:14].
I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
but God is Faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear
it.
I Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is He that calleth you, Who also will do
it.
II Thessalonians 3:3 But
the Lord is Faithful, Who shall stablish you, and keep
you from evil.
"His Word"
John 8:31,32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in
My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the Truth, and
the Truth shall make you free [cp.Jn 14:6;15:26].
I Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received
the Word of God which ye heard of us, ye received
it not
as the word of men, but as it is in truth,
the Word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Colossians 3:16 Let
the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all Wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and Spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
I John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him
that is from the Beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and
the Word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was Life; and the Life was the light of men.
Again, the Word for the day--I John 1:8-10
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the Truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

09.18 Morning:
Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy Law.
Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures.―It is given unto you to know the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given.―I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in Thy sight.―We have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.―How precious also are thy thoughts unto Me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
if I should count them, they are more in number than the sand.―O the depth of the riches both of the Wisdom and Knowledge of God! how unsearchable
are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! for who hath known the Mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor? . . . for of Him, and through Him, and to Him,
are all things: to Whom
be glory for ever. Amen.
