The Lord is gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
(Psalm 145:8)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
The Word for the day--
Psalm 23:2
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters."
Ezekiel 34:11-16
For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out. As a Shepherd seeketh out His flock in the day that He is among His sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. I will seek that which was lost [cp. Lk 19:10],
and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
John 10:11 I am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd giveth His Life for the sheep.
John 10:14 I am the good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine.
Revelation 7:13-17 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in His Temple: and He that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto Living Fountains of Waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Again, the Word for the day--Psalm 23:2
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

07.01 Morning:
The fruit of the Spirit is . . . goodness.
Be ye . . . followers of God, as dear children.―Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.―Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
The fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
After that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.―The
Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies
are over all His works.―He that spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Ga 5:22 Eph 5:1 Mt 5:44,45 Lu 6:36 Eph 5:9 Tit 3:4-6 Ps 145:9 Ro 8:32
