For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies,
and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Ephesians 2:4-7 But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love
wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us
together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised
us up together, and made
us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in
His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
The Word for the month--
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then
is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if
it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
The Word for the day--
Psalm 45:1,2
To
the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A
Song of loves. My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things
which I have made touching the King: my tongue is
the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men:
grace is poured into Thy lips: therefore God hath blessed Thee for ever.

Psalm 45
To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, for the sons of Korah, Maschil, A Song of loves.
My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is
the pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the children of men:
grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Gird thy sword upon
thy thigh, O
most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness
and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Thine arrows
are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies;
whereby the people fall under thee.
Thy throne, O God,
is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom
is
a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness:
therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness
above thy fellows. All thy garments
smell of myrrh, and aloes,
and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. Kings' daughters
were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also
thine own people, and thy father's house; so shall the king greatly
desire thy beauty: for he
is thy Lord; and worship thou him. And the daughter of Tyre
shall be there with a gift;
even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. The king's daughter
is all glorious within: her clothing
is
of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of
needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought
unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall
enter into the king's palace. Instead of thy fathers shall be thy
children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. I will make
thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people
praise thee for ever and ever.

Corinthians 15:3,4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I
also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the
scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
Romans 16:27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
I Peter 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
