02.28 Evening:

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord.

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. . . . And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last.

Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.--If our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. . . .Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the Way Everlasting.

The LORD is gracious,

Psalm 9:9,10 The Lord also will be a Refuge for the oppressed, a Refuge in times of trouble. And they that know Thy Name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.

"The Lord also will be a Refuge ["defence" Ps 94:21,22] for the oppressed, a Refuge ["defence" Ps 94:21,22] in times of trouble."

Romans 8:33-39 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Hebrews 4:15,16 For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.

God . . . hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Him.--God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

02.27 Evening:

God . . .giveth . . . liberally, and upbraideth not.
Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

The grace of God, and the Gift by grace, which is by one Man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. . . .The free Gift is of many offences unto justification.

God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

He that spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest Thyself with Light as with a garment: Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters: Who maketh the clouds His chariot: Who walketh upon the wings of the wind: Who maketh His angels spirits; His ministers a flaming fire: Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. At Thy rebuke they fled; at the Voice of Thy thunder they hasted away. The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God. The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. O Lord, how manifold are Thy works! in Wisdom hast Thou made them all: the earth is full of Thy riches. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts. There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom Thou hast made to play therein. These wait all upon Thee; that Thou mayest give them their meat in due season. That Thou givest them they gather: Thou openest Thine hand, they are filled with good. The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in His works. He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: He toucheth the hills, and they smoke. I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord. Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the Lord, O my soul. Praise ye the Lord.

Reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto Life.-- I through the Law am dead to the Law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the Life which I now live in the flesh I live by the Faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

02.26 Evening:


There was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

This is the token of the Covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set My bow in the cloud--will look upon it, that I may remember the Everlasting Covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.--An Everlasting Covenant, ordered in all things, and sure.--That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for Refuge to lay hold upon the Hope set before us.

We declare unto you glad tidings, how that the Promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that He hath raised up Jesus again

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Trust--Refuge--Hope

Every Word of God is pure: He is a Shield unto them that put their trust {H2620} in Him.
Proverbs 30:5

Refuge--

Psalm 57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth {H2620} in Thee: yea, in the shadow of Thy Wings will I make my refuge {H2620}, until these calamities be overpast.



Hope--

Proverbs 14:32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the Righteous hath hope {H2620} in His death.



Trust--

Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the Way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust {H2620} in Him.

Ruth 2:12 The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under Whose Wings thou art come to trust{H2620}.

Oh that I knew where I might find Him!

Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the Voice of His Servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the Name of the Lord, and stay upon His God.

Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.--Seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.--Now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.--For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the Truth:

Lo, I am with you alway.--I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.--Comforter . . .dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.--Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.

Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.--And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. --Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.--Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the Faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.--This is the victory that overcometh the world, even our Faith.

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
