For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 27:13,14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the Goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
The Word for the day--
Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"hear what the Spirit saith"
John 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and
they are Life.
Romans 10:17 So then
Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
"to him that overcometh"
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but
overcome evil with good....Acts 10:38 How God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:
Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that
in Me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
I John 5:4,5 For
whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the Victory that overcometh the world, even our Faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?Revelation 12:11 And
they overcame him [Devil--Rev 12:9] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of their Testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
"the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."
Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed
is the Man [cp. Jn 19:5] that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But
His delight is in the Law of the Lord; and in His Law doth He meditate day and night [cp.Ps 40:8, Heb 10:7]. And
He shall be like a Tree planted by the rivers of Water, that bringeth forth His Fruit in His season [cp. Rev 22:1,2]; His leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever He doeth shall prosper.
John 1:4
In Him was Life; and the Life was the Light of men.
Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the gates into
the City.
Again, the Word for the day--Revelation 2:7
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

11.09 Morning:
I have laid help upon One that is Mighty; I have exalted One chosen out of the people.
I,
even I,
am the
Lord; and beside Me
there is no saviour.―
There is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.―There is none other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
The mighty God.―[Who] made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a Man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name.―We see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.―Forasmuch . . . as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same.
