"Be in Health"
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health{G5198}, even as thy soul prospereth.
III John 1:2
Strongs: G5198
5198 ὑγιαίνω [U(GIAI/NW] {hygiaínō} \hoog-ee-ah'-ee-no\
from 5199; to have sound health, i.e. be well (in body); figuratively, to be uncorrupt (true in doctrine):--be in health, (be safe and) sound, (be) whole(-some).
See Greek 5199.
Luke 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole {G5198} need not a physician; but they that are sick.
Luke 7:10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole {G5198} that had been sick.
Luke 15:27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound {G5198}.
I Timothy 1:8-11 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound {G5198} doctrine; according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
I Timothy 6:3,4 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome {G5198} words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; he is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
II Timothy 1:13 Hold fast the form of sound {G5198} words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
II Timothy 4:1-4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound {G5198} doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Titus 1:7-9 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; but a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound {G5198} doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Titus 1:10-13 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound {G5198} in the faith;
Titus 2:1,2 But speak thou the things which become sound {G5198} doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound {G5198} in faith, in charity, in patience.
III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health {G5198}, even as thy soul prospereth.
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound {G5199} speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Hear III John....
III John
The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health {G5198}, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: because that for His Name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee: but I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
