" . . . always to pray, and not to faint" . . . "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer . . ."
Luke 18:1-7
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge His Own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them?
Philippians 4:6-9
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
I Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

06.26 Evening:
The Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: and when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.
He . . . kneeled down, and prayed. . . . And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
It was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: . . . They took Jesus, and led Him away. . . . Into a place called . . . Golgotha: where they crucified Him.
Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the Feast.

06.26 Evening:
(I Corinthians 11:23-25)For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which He was betrayed took bread: and when He had given thanks, He brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.
(Luke 22:41)And He was withdrawn from them about a Stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, . . . (Luke 22:44)And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
(John 19:14)And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! . . . (John 19:16-18)Then delivered he Him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led Him away. And He bearing His cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: where they crucified Him, and two other with Him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
(I Corinthians 5:7,8)Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: therefore let us keep the Feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened Bread of sincerity and truth.

The LORD is gracious
The Lord is gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
(Psalm 145:8)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 108:4 For Thy mercy is great above the heavens: and Thy Truth reacheth unto the clouds.
The Word for the day--
Psalm 8:1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy Glory above the heavens.

To the Chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David.
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy Glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; what is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the Son of man, that Thou visitest Him? For Thou hast made Him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned Him with glory and honour. Thou madest Him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under His feet: all sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; the fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth!
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Who hast set Thy Glory above the heavens"
Psalm 113:4 The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens.
Romans 16:25-27 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the Mystery, which was kept Secret since the world began, but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the Everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of Faith: to God only wise, be Glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.
II Corinthians 4:6 For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.
James 2:1 My brethren, have not the Faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, with respect of persons.
I Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
II Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. to Him be Glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Revelation 21:23 And the City had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the Glory of God did Lighten it, and the Lamb is the Light thereof.
Hebrews 2:6-9 But One in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? or the Son of man, that Thou visitest Him? Thou madest Him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst Him with glory and honour, and didst set Him over the works of Thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under His feet. For in that He put all in subjection under Him, He left nothing that is not put under Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him. But we see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
I Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His Glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Again, the Word for the day--Psalm 8:1 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy Name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy Glory above the heavens.

06.26 Morning:
The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.―When He giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when He hideth His Face, who then can behold Him?
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: Thy blessing is upon Thy people.―How great is Thy goodness, which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee; which Thou hast wrought for them that trust in Thee before the sons of men!―I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.―The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.
