For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the Strength of my Life; of whom shall I be afraid?
The Word for the day--
II Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."
John 1:14-18 And the Word was
made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
¶John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of Whom I
spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before
me. And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him.
II Corinthians 8:9 For ye know
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich.
II Corinthians 12:9 And
He [Christ Jesus the Lord] said unto me,
My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Isaiah 45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to Him shall men come; and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren,
be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Psalm 27:1
The
Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the Strength of my Life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Again, the Word for the day--II Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

10.07 Morning:
The meek will He teach His Way.
Blessed
are the meek.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race
is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill.―A man's heart deviseth his way: but the
Lord directeth his steps.
Unto Thee lift I up mine eyes, O Thou that dwellest in the Heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants
look unto the hand of their masters,
and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes
wait upon the
Lord our God.―Cause me to know the Way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee.
O our God, wilt Thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes
are upon Thee.
If any of you lack Wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all
men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
When He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth.
Ps 25:9 Mt 5:5 Ec 9:11 Pr 16:9 Ps 123:1,2 143:8 2Ch 20:12 Jas 1:5 Joh 16:13
