The Lord is gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
(Psalm 145:8)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 25:1,2 Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in Thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
The Word for the day--
Isaiah 45:24
Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to Him shall men come; and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength"
I Corinthians 1:30,31 But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
Jeremiah 33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the Name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.
Revelation 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
II Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
"even to Him shall men come"
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.
Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest shall be glorious.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.
Psalm 72:1-11 A Psalm for Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king's Son. He shall judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with judgment. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He shall judge the poor of the people, He shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. They shall fear Thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In His days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before Him; and His enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea, all kings shall fall down before Him: all nations shall serve Him.
"and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed."
Isaiah 41:10-12 Fear thou not; for I am with Thee: be not dismayed; for I am Thy God: I will strengthen Thee; yea, I will help Thee; yea, I will uphold Thee with the right hand of My Righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against Thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with Thee shall perish. Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with Thee: they that war against Thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
Psalm 36:12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
Revelation 19:19-21 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the Sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which Sword proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Proverbs 3:35 The wise shall inherit glory: but
shame shall be the promotion of fools.
Again, the Word for the day--Isaiah 45:24
Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to Him shall men come; and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed.

08.19 Morning:
As He which hath called you is Holy, so be ye Holy in all manner of conversation.
Ye know how we exhorted . . . and charged every one of you, . . . that ye would walk worthy of God, Who hath called you unto His Kingdom and glory.―Ye should shew forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous Light.
Ye were sometimes darkness, but now
are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of Light: (for the fruit of the Spirit
is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove
them.―Being filled with the fruits of Righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.―Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
