For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the Strength of my Life; of whom shall I be afraid?
The Word for the day--
Isaiah 33:2
O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for Thee: be Thou their Arm every morning, our Salvation also in the time of trouble.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"O Lord, be gracious unto us"
Ephesians 1:6,7
. . .to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved. In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace; . . .
I Peter 1:24-2:3 For all flesh
is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: but

"be Thou their Arm every morning"
Isaiah 51:5 My Righteousness
is near; My Salvation is gone forth, and
Mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon Me, and on Mine Arm shall they trust.
Isaiah 53:1-6 Who hath believed our report? and
to whom is the Arm of the Lord revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a Root out of a dry ground: He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him,
there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were
our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He
was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace
was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the
Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Lamentations 3:22,23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because
His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.
"our Salvation also in the time of trouble."
I Thessalonians 5:8,9 But let us, who are of the Day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of Faith and Love; and for an helmet,
the Hope of Salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
"we have waited for Thee"
II Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God,
and into the patient waiting for Christ.
Again, the Word for the day--Isaiah 33:2
O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for Thee: be Thou their Arm every morning, our Salvation also in the time of trouble.

10.17 Morning:
In Thy Name shall they rejoice all the day: and in Thy Righteousness shall they be exalted.
In the
Lord have I Righteousness and Strength:
even to Him shall
men come; and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed. In the
Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.―Be glad in the
Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all
ye that are upright in heart.
The Righteousness of God without the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the prophets; even the Righteousness of God
which is by Faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe....To declare,... at this time His Righteousness: that He might be Just, and the Justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Rejoice in the Lord alway:
and again I say, Rejoice.―Whom having not seen, ye love; in Whom, though now ye see
Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
