The Lord is gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
(Psalm 145:8)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 107:8,9 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
The Word for the day--
I Chronicles 16:11,12 Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His Face continually. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
Here it is with the full sentence--
I Chronicles 16:11-13 Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His Face continually. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth; O ye seed of Israel His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His Face continually. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;"
II Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
II Corinthians 4:6 For God, Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the Light of the Knowledge of the glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be Light: and there was Light.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
II Peter 1:10-21 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the Everlasting Kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His Majesty. For He received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a Voice to Him from the excellent glory, This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased. And this Voice which came from Heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the Holy Mount. We have also a more sure Word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a Light that shineth in a dark place, until the Day dawn, and the Day Star arise in your hearts: knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Psalm 107:8-16 Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron; because they rebelled against the Words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High: therefore He brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help. Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder. . . .Psalm 107:43 Whoso is wise, and will observe ["keep" Prov 4:20] these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.
Again, the Word for the day--I Chronicles 16:11,12 Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His Face continually. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;

05.31 Morning:
By His strength he had power with God: yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto Him.―[Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.―If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.―Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Lord, Increase our faith.
