The LORD is gracious

The Lord is gracious,
and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
(Psalm 145:8)

The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Word for the month--
Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

The Word for the day--
Ezekiel 34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--

"I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel."

Psalm 87:1 His Foundation [cp.1Cor 3:11] is in the holy mountains.

Psalm 36:5-10 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the Heavens; and Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy Righteousness is like the great mountains; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, Thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is Thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the Shadow of Thy Wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the River of Thy pleasures. For with Thee is the Fountain of Life: in Thy Light shall we see Light. O continue Thy lovingkindness unto them that know Thee; and Thy Righteousness to the upright in heart.

Isaiah 40:9-11 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He shall feed His flock like a Shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Mark 9:2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and He was transfigured before them.

Revelation 21:10,11 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great City, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of Heaven from God, having the glory of God: and her Light was like unto a Stone most precious, even like a jasper Stone [cp.Rev 4:2,3], clear as crystal;

Isaiah 25:6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things [cp.Lev 3:16; Eph 5:2], a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Jeremiah 31:14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, saith the Lord.

Again, the Word for the day
--Ezekiel 34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

07.10 Morning:

The disciple is not above his Master.

Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord.―If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.―I have given them Thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.―Forasmuch . . . as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same Mind.

Mt 10:24 Joh 13:13 Mt 10:25 Joh 15:20 17:14 Heb 12:3,4,1,2 1Pe 4:1

(Matthew 10:25)It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. (I Peter 4:1)Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same Mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
