For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give Strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with Peace.
The Word for the day--
Psalm 21:13 Be Thou exalted, Lord, in Thine Own Strength: so will we sing and praise Thy Power.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Be Thou exalted, Lord, in Thine Own Strength: so will we sing and praise Thy Power."
Psalm 24:7,8 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle [cp. Isa 63:1-6; Col 2:10-15].
Psalm 89:6-8 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto Thee? or to Thy faithfulness round about Thee?
John 10:14-18 I am the good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine. As the Father knoweth Me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down My Life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My Voice [cp. Ps 29]; and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd. Therefore doth My Father love Me, because I lay down My Life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have Power to lay it down, and I have Power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father.
Ephesians 1:19-23 And what is the exceeding greatness of His Power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His Mighty Power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His Own right hand in the Heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: and hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.
Philippians 3:7-11 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through the Faith of Christ, the Righteousness which is of God by Faith: that I may know Him, and the Power of His Resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; if by any means I might attain unto the Resurrection of the dead.
II Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My Strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me.
II Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the Power of His might.
Again, the Word for the day--Psalm 21:13 Be Thou exalted, Lord, in Thine Own Strength: so will we sing and praise Thy Power.

12.22 Morning:
This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him Whom He hath sent.
Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.―Faith which worketh by Love.―He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap Life Everlasting.―We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.―Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your Faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth. . . Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of Faith with Power.―It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
