For all flesh is as grass,
and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the Word,
that ye may grow thereby:
if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
(I Peter 1:24-2:3)
The Word for the YEAR--
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Word for the month--
Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with Peace.
The Word for the day--
Psalm 96:6,7 Honour and majesty are before Him: strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Hear the entire Psalm--
Psalm 96:1-13
O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless His Name; shew forth His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the heathen, His wonders among all people. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty before Him: strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His Name: bring an offering, and come into His courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him, all the earth.
Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: He shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord: for He cometh, for He cometh to judge the earth: He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
Compare Spiritual with Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:12-14; John 5:39)--
"Honour and majesty are before Him: strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength."
"strength and beauty are in His sanctuary."
Isaiah 8:13,14 Sanctify the Lord of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread. And He [Christ] shall be for a sanctuary [cp. 1Pet 2:5-8] ; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Psalm 96:9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him, all the earth.
Psalm 93:5 Thy testimonies are very sure [cp.Jn 5:39]: holiness becometh Thine House, O Lord, for ever.
Again, the Word for the day--Psalm 96:6,7 Honour and majesty are before Him: strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

12.28 Morning:
I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.―Who can forgive sins but God only?
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.―Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity.―Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity.
God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.―The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.―Sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. . . .Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
