Hear this evening's devotional [Prepared by Jonathan Bagster (1813-1872)]
06.04 Evening:
Put . . . on the Lord Jesus Christ.―That I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through the Faith of Christ, the Righteousness which is of God by Faith.―The Righteousness of God which is by Faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
He hath covered me with the Robe of Righteousness.―I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of Thy Righteousness, even of Thine only.
Ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye Light in the Lord: walk as children of Light.―Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. . . . All things that are reproved are made manifest by the Light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is Light. Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee Light. See then that ye walk circumspectly.

(Isaiah 61:10)I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the Garments of Salvation, He hath covered me with the Robe of Righteousness, as a Bridegroom decketh Himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.--(Psalm 71:16)I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of Thy Righteousness, even of Thine only.
(Ephesians 5:8)For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye Light in the Lord: walk as children of Light: . . .(Ephesians 5:11)And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. . . . (Ephesians 5:13-15)But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the Light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is Light. Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee Light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
