Psalm 86
A Prayer of David.

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear Me: for I am poor and needy. Preserve My Soul; for I am Holy: O Thou My God, save Thy Servant that trusteth in Thee. Be merciful unto Me, O Lord: for I cry unto Thee daily. Rejoice the Soul of Thy Servant: for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up My Soul. For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee. Give ear, O Lord, unto My prayer; and attend to the Voice of My supplications. In the day of My trouble I will call upon Thee: for Thou wilt answer Me. 

Among the gods there is none like unto Thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto Thy works. All nations Whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, O Lord; and shall glorify Thy Name. For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone. Teach Me Thy Way, O Lord; I will walk in Thy Truth: unite My heart to fear Thy Name. I will praise Thee, O Lord My God, with all My heart: and I will glorify Thy Name for evermore. For great is Thy mercy toward Me: and Thou hast delivered My Soul from the lowest hell. O God, the proud are risen against Me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after My Soul; and have not set Thee before them. But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. O turn unto Me, and have mercy upon Me; give Thy Strength unto Thy Servant, and save the Son of Thine handmaid. Shew Me a token for good; that they which hate Me may see it, and be ashamed: because Thou, Lord, hast holpen Me, and comforted Me.

Luke 1:30-38 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a Son, and shalt call His Name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David: and He shall reign over the House of Jacob for ever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy Word. And the angel departed from her.

Hebrews 5:7-10 Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; and being made perfect, He became the Author of Eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him; called of God an High Priest after the order of Melchisedec.


I Peter 1:10,11 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.




John 5:39 Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have Eternal Life: and they are they which testify of Me.
